Al-Furqan (The Criterion) 25:28-30
وَيَوۡمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلٰى يَدَيۡهِ يَقُوۡلُ يٰلَيۡتَنِى اتَّخَذۡتُ مَعَ الرَّسُوۡلِ سَبِيۡلًا‏ ﴿27﴾ يٰوَيۡلَتٰى لَيۡتَنِىۡ لَمۡ اَتَّخِذۡ فُلَانًا خَلِيۡلًا‏ ﴿28﴾ لَقَدۡ اَضَلَّنِىۡ عَنِ الذِّكۡرِ بَعۡدَ اِذۡ جَآءَنِىۡ‌ ؕ وَكَانَ الشَّيۡطٰنُ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ خَذُوۡلًا‏ ﴿29﴾ وَقَالَ الرَّسُوۡلُ يٰرَبِّ اِنَّ قَوۡمِى اتَّخَذُوۡا هٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنَ مَهۡجُوۡرًا‏ ﴿30
And (remember) the Day when the Zâlim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (27) "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a Khalil (an intimate friend)! (28) "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Qur'ân) after it had come to me. And Shaitân (Satan) is to man ever a deserter in the hour of need." (29) And the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur'ân (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and teachings). (30)
اور اس دن ظالم اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ کاٹ کھائے گا کہے گا اے کاش میں بھی رسول کے ساتھ راہ چلتا (27) ہائے میری شامت کاش میں نے فلاں کو دوست نہ بنایا ہوتا (۲۸) اسی نے تو نصیحت کے آنے کےبعد مجھے بہکا دیا اور شیطان تو انسان کو رسوا کرنے والا ہی ہے (۲۹) اور رسول کہے گا اے میرے رب بےشک میری قوم نے اس قرآن کو نظر انداز کر رکھا تھا (۳۰)
